description

Nexus Repository 3 Pro installations using SAML or OAuth2/OIDC sign-in are affected. Someone with an existing locally disabled or locked account may still authenticate through the identity provider and regain that account's permissions, provided their identity-provider credentials remain valid.

mitigation

Upgrade Nexus Repository 3 to version 3.98.0 or later. Until then, disable affected federated sign-in methods or revoke identity-provider access for accounts disabled locally.

fixed in 3.98.0
