CVE-2026-112942
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-587h-7wmj-h5pm ↗EUVD-2026-105035 ↗
description
Windows applications using launch-editor before 2.14.2 can accept attacker-controlled file arguments that bypass filename validation. An attacker who controls that argument may achieve OS command injection when the separate Windows percent-expansion flaw is also present.
mitigation
Upgrade launch-editor to 2.14.2. Update Vite to 8.3.3, 8.2.4, 8.1.6, 7.3.7, or 6.4.4 as appropriate for your release line, and update vite-plus to 1.1.0.
fixed in 2.14.2, 8.3.3, 8.2.4, 8.1.6, 7.3.7, 6.4.4, 1.1.0
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
