description

MikroTik RouterOS releases through 6.40.5, 6.44, and 7.20.8 contain an integer overflow in the ipt_SAME.ko same_check function. A remote attacker with the required privileges may trigger the flaw and affect device availability.

mitigation

Upgrade affected RouterOS devices to version 7.21.5 or 7.23.1 as recommended by the advisory. Restrict remote administrative access until upgrades are complete.
