validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-9g52-cg59-7f5p ↗EUVD-2026-108016 ↗
description
Photo Engine for WordPress versions before 6.5.8 mishandle collection and gallery names displayed in the administrative interface. An authenticated user with Author-level access or greater can cause script execution when affected administrative content is viewed.
mitigation
Upgrade the Photo Engine WordPress plugin to version 6.5.8 or later. Until upgraded, restrict Author and higher roles to trusted users and review collection and gallery names.
fixed in 6.5.8
outcome
Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
