description

Tektronix 3 Series MDO devices running versions earlier than 1.21.1 are affected by a path traversal flaw in the SCPI filesystem interface. An attacker able to access that interface may read or alter files outside the intended filesystem location.

mitigation

Upgrade affected 3 Series MDO devices to version 1.21.1. Restrict access to the SCPI filesystem interface to trusted administrative networks until upgrades are complete.

fixed in 1.21.1
