CVE-2026-111751
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.description
Angular applications using @angular/router for Node.js server-side rendering can retain excessive request query-parameter data when RouterLink uses merged or preserved query parameters. An unauthenticated remote attacker may cause SSR worker processes to run out of memory and stop handling requests if long query strings are accepted and concurrent renders overlap. Browser-only Angular applications are not affected.
mitigation
Upgrade @angular/router to 21.2.25 or 22.2.1. Until upgrading, remove merge or preserve query-parameter handling from server-rendered links and reject oversized query strings at the proxy or application edge.
fixed in 22.2.1, 21.2.25
outcome
Mechanism verified: the exploit fired on the vulnerable build and stayed silent on the patched one, but the server it ran against was ours, so no check ships for it.
