description

Simple Admin Core through version 1.8.7 includes a publicly known JWT signing secret in its core configuration. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach the affected service may create tokens with administrator privileges and alter administrative resources. Exploitation depends on the deployment retaining the default embedded secret.

mitigation

Immediately replace the configured JWT signing secret with a unique, protected value and revoke or rotate existing tokens. Limit network access to the administrative service while validating remediation; no corrected package version is recorded.
