description

On-premises BMC Helix Network Management releases before 26.3.01 are affected by an authentication bypass. When SAML single sign-on is configured, an unauthenticated attacker may gain a local administrator-level session and change device credentials, run device commands, or alter audit records.

mitigation

Upgrade BMC Helix Network Management to version 26.3.01. Until upgraded, reduce exposure by disabling SAML single sign-on where operationally feasible and restricting access to the web login interface.

fixed in 26.3.01
