description

Vvveb versions before 1.0.8.7 have insufficient validation in the password-reset workflow. An attacker may bypass authentication through that functionality when they can access the affected password-reset endpoint.

mitigation

Upgrade Vvveb to version 1.0.8.7 or later. Restrict access to the password-reset endpoint until the upgrade is complete.

fixed in 1.0.8.7
