CVE-2026-110726
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-r566-6hq2-633r ↗EUVD-2026-102022 ↗
description
api-gateway versions through 1.7.3 can derive rate-limit identities from a client-controlled forwarded-address header when using the default resolver. An attacker can evade per-client request limits by presenting different apparent client addresses. Exposure requires routes to use the shipped default rate-limit configuration.
mitigation
Replace the default resolver with one that derives client identity only from proxy-validated address information, and sanitize or reject untrusted forwarded-address headers. Restrict which upstream proxies may supply client-address headers until a fixed release is confirmed.
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
