description

arsalandotme video-stitch releases before 2.0.0-beta.1 are affected by OS command injection in media-processing operations. An attacker able to control file names passed to concat(), cut(), or merge() may cause commands to run with the Node.js process privileges.

mitigation

Upgrade arsalandotme video-stitch to version 2.0.0-beta.1 or later. Until upgraded, prevent untrusted parties from supplying file names to the affected media-processing operations.

fixed in 2.0.0-beta.1
