description

Drupal File Force Download versions 7.1.0 through 7.1.2 can bypass authorization for files stored through temporary or custom stream wrappers. An unauthenticated attacker who can target an affected non-public file URL may retrieve a file that should be access-controlled; public and private file storage are not affected.

mitigation

Upgrade the file_force module to version 7.1.3. Until upgrading, restrict unauthenticated access to temporary and custom stream-wrapper file URLs, or disable the module if that restriction cannot be enforced.

fixed in 7.1.3
