CVE-2026-109954
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-jhh9-hrgh-c9gv ↗EUVD-2026-98658 ↗
description
Affected parse-server releases can mix transaction-batch state between simultaneous client requests. An unauthenticated client able to submit transactional batch requests may disrupt other clients' writes; on PostgreSQL or MongoDB replica-set or sharded deployments, this can include reverted acknowledged writes or write failures.
mitigation
Upgrade parse-server to 8.6.96 or 9.10.2-alpha.5, as appropriate for your release branch. Until upgraded, restrict access to transactional batch endpoints to trusted clients and monitor for stalled PostgreSQL transactions.
fixed in 9.10.2-alpha.5, 8.6.96
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
