description

Otter Blocks versions earlier than 3.2.3 can use an unvalidated return URL when creating Stripe Checkout sessions. An unauthenticated attacker may cause a customer who completes or cancels checkout to be sent to an external site; this requires the victim to follow a checkout flow using the attacker-influenced return destination.

mitigation

Update Otter Blocks to version 3.2.3 or later. Until updated, limit exposure of Stripe Checkout flows and ensure return destinations are restricted to site-controlled URLs.

fixed in 3.2.3
