description

Undici can associate a response reached through a cross-origin redirect with the original URL in a shared cache. An attacker controlling a redirect destination could poison cached content or expose a prior user's data when an originless Agent uses a shared cache store with redirect processing before caching.

mitigation

Upgrade undici to 7.30.1 or 8.12.2, or a later compatible release. Until upgraded, place caching before redirect handling, use separate per-origin caches and dispatchers, or disable shared caching for requests that can follow redirects.

fixed in 7.30.1, 8.12.2
