description

rapyd-admin versions 9.0.0 through versions before 9.20.0 may create a privileged administrator account with known built-in credentials during setup-related operations. A remote unauthenticated attacker can obtain global administrative access when that account is present, bypassing tenant and record-level access controls.

mitigation

Upgrade rapyd-admin to version 9.20.0 or later. Until upgraded, remove or disable installer-created administrator accounts and restrict access to the administration interface.

fixed in 9.20.0
