description

NotificationX for WordPress is affected by stored cross-site scripting in versions through 3.3.3. An unauthenticated attacker may cause browser script execution for visitors to an affected public page when a WordPress.org Reviews campaign is enabled and the NotificationX dynamic block is present on that page.

mitigation

Disable WordPress.org Reviews campaigns or remove the NotificationX dynamic block from public pages until an update is available. Review pages using this feature combination for unauthorized injected content.
