description

ZITADEL 4.x before 4.19.2 and 3.x through 3.4.15 are affected by an authentication bypass in the SAML identity-provider intent callback. An attacker with organization-administrator permission can obtain authenticated sessions as users linked to a different SAML provider, potentially across organizations on the same instance.

mitigation

Upgrade ZITADEL to version 4.19.2 or later. Until upgrading, restrict organization-administrator access and review SAML identity-provider configuration changes.

fixed in 4.19.2
