description

SGLang through 0.5.21 disables Pillow's image pixel limit at process scope. An attacker may cause worker memory exhaustion by providing a compressed image that expands to very large dimensions, if the deployment processes untrusted images through the affected loader.

mitigation

Restore or enforce a finite Pillow image pixel limit before handling untrusted images, and restrict untrusted image uploads or processing where possible. Upgrade when a corrected SGLang release is published; no fixed version is recorded.
