description

Plano through 0.4.37 exposes its Envoy administrative interface on port 9901 without authentication. A network-reachable attacker can retrieve configuration information that may contain LLM provider API keys in plaintext; access to that port is the required precondition.

mitigation

Immediately restrict port 9901 to localhost or a tightly controlled management network using binding and firewall controls. Rotate LLM provider API keys that may have been exposed, and monitor for a vendor release that addresses the issue.
