description

Agnaistic agnai through 1.0.555 ships a self-hosted Docker Compose configuration with static administrator credentials and a predictable JWT signing secret. An unauthenticated attacker who can reach the deployment may gain administrative privileges, impersonate accounts, reset passwords, or alter server settings.

mitigation

Replace the configured administrator password and JWT signing secret with unique, securely generated values, then redeploy and invalidate existing sessions or tokens. Limit access to the self-hosted service to trusted networks until a maintained release or updated configuration is available.
