description

MCP Kotlin SDK through 0.15.0 does not set a maximum WebSocket frame size when configuring Application.mcpWebSocket. A remote client able to connect to the affected WebSocket service may exhaust server memory and cause denial of service.

mitigation

Configure a maximum accepted WebSocket frame size for affected MCP Kotlin SDK deployments and restrict access to the WebSocket endpoint to trusted clients. Upgrade when a fixed release is published; no fixed version is recorded.
