description

cc-connect through 1.5.0 is affected when the MAX platform webhook adapter is enabled without a webhook secret. An attacker able to reach the webhook listener can submit forged updates under an allowed or administrative identity and cause privileged commands to run on the host.

mitigation

Configure a webhook secret for the MAX adapter and restrict access to the webhook listener on port 8080 to trusted sources. Upgrade to a vendor release containing a fix when one is published; no fixed version is recorded in the advisory.
