CVE-2026-108335
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.description
Remote Ops Agent does not limit repeated password-reset code submissions. An attacker may use repeated guesses to take over an account, including an administrative account, when password reset is enabled and email is configured.
mitigation
Disable password-reset functionality where operationally feasible until the vendor provides remediation. Otherwise, enforce rate limits for reset-code submissions at an access gateway or reverse proxy and monitor for repeated failed reset attempts.
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
