description

FalkorDB versions earlier than 4.20.0 can mishandle authentication checks for the Bolt service. A remote unauthenticated client may be able to run graph queries when the service encounters certain backend errors. Exposure requires the Bolt endpoint, configured through BOLT_PORT, to be enabled.

mitigation

Upgrade FalkorDB to version 4.20.0 or later. Disable the Bolt endpoint until the upgrade is complete if it is not required.

fixed in 4.20.0
