description

Affected MariaDB server releases can consume attacker-controlled environment values when the service is restarted. An attacker needs a database account with FILE privilege and a secure-file-priv configuration that permits writing to /run/mysqld.

mitigation

Upgrade MariaDB server to 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, 13.0.2, or a later applicable release. Restrict FILE privilege and prevent database-file writes to /run/mysqld.

fixed in 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, 13.0.2
