description

Amelia for WordPress through version 9.9.1 does not properly limit attendee-report access to the relevant event's authorized staff. A logged-in user assigned the plugin's customer-level role or greater can access attendee information from other events, including personal and transaction-related data.

mitigation

Restrict access to the attendee-report endpoint for customer-role accounts, such as by using web-server or WAF rules, and review existing assignments of that role. Update Amelia when the vendor publishes a corrected release.

Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
