CVE-2026-107385
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-r3rv-jm3r-62q2 ↗EUVD-2026-95150 ↗
description
The npm mariadb connector can mishandle parameter escaping for text-protocol queries when the database session uses NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES. An attacker who can influence parameter values may cause SQL to run with the application's database privileges; binary-protocol execute() and batch() calls are not affected.
mitigation
Upgrade mariadb to 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, or 3.5.4, as appropriate for the release line. Until upgraded, disable NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES or use execute() or batch() for parameterized queries.
fixed in 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, 3.5.4
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
