description

AsyncHttpClient versions through 3.0.12 on the 3.x line and through 2.16.0 on the 2.x line can retain incorrect origin state when replaying a request to another host. Applications using cross-host ResponseFilter failover or retries may send request content, authorization data, or traffic lacking the expected TLS handling to the replay destination.

mitigation

Upgrade to AsyncHttpClient 3.0.13 or later on the 3.x line, or 2.16.1 or later on the 2.x line. Until upgraded, avoid cross-host ResponseFilter replays and disable retries where credentials or proxies are in use.

fixed in 3.0.13, 2.16.1
