description

Slims 9 Bulian 9.8.0 has a CSRF weakness in its administrative loan-history maintenance function. An attacker may cause loan-history records to be removed if they can induce an authenticated administrator to trigger the affected action.

Still under analysis: more detail becomes available as the pipeline runs.

mitigation

Restrict the administrative interface to trusted users and networks, and limit access to the loan-history maintenance function where practical. Instruct administrators not to follow untrusted links while signed in until vendor update guidance is available.
