description

ImageSharp versions 3.0.0 through 4.1.0 can write beyond an internal buffer while decoding certain CCITT-compressed strip TIFF images. An attacker who can supply such an image to an application that loads untrusted TIFF files may crash the process or corrupt heap memory.

mitigation

Upgrade the ImageSharp NuGet package to version 4.1.1 or later. Until upgraded, do not process untrusted TIFF files, particularly strip TIFFs using CCITT Group 3 or Modified Huffman compression.

fixed in 4.1.1
