description

Apache Pulsar Manager has authentication and authorization flaws that can let a network-reachable attacker create administrative access or use its proxy to invoke Pulsar administration with configured credentials. Deployments that store a Pulsar HTTP credential may also expose that credential; use of a token signing key increases the potential impact.

mitigation

Remove Apache Pulsar Manager and migrate to a supported administration interface. Until it is removed, restrict access to trusted administrators only and rotate Pulsar credentials or token signing keys if the deployment may have been exposed.
