description

Tenda AC5 devices running firmware 02.03.01.111_multi are affected by a stack-based buffer overflow in the Wi-Fi configuration handler. A remote attacker able to reach the management interface and provide the affected setting may be able to trigger the flaw.

mitigation

Disable remote administration and limit access to the device management interface to trusted administrative networks. Isolate affected devices from untrusted networks until Tenda provides a corrected firmware release.
