description

Ghost versions 4.39.0 through before 6.64.0 may expose pending staff-invitation tokens to staff users permitted to view invitations. Such a user could use a token for a higher-privilege pending invitation to obtain greater access.

mitigation

Upgrade Ghost to version 6.64.0 or later. Until upgrade, limit access to staff invitation views and review pending higher-privilege invitations.

fixed in 6.64.0
