CVE-2026-105651
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.description
Ghost versions 5.94.0 through before 6.64.0 can retain non-image external content as bookmark-card media and serve it from the site domain. A staff user, including a Contributor, could use this to run attacker-controlled content in a way that may compromise other staff users' admin sessions; creating a bookmark card is required.
mitigation
Upgrade Ghost to version 6.64.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict bookmark-card creation to trusted staff and limit access to untrusted external bookmark sources.
fixed in 6.64.0
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
