CVE-2026-105643
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-69qc-f5m6-889c ↗EUVD-2026-92632 ↗
description
Ghost versions 6.34.0 through 6.65.0 are affected by stored cross-site scripting involving editor embed cards. A staff user, including a Contributor, may cause scripts in post content to run when another staff user opens that post in the editor, potentially exposing the latter user's administrative session. Exploitation requires staff-level access to create the post and another staff user to view it in the editor.
mitigation
Upgrade Ghost to version 6.67.0 or later. For self-hosted deployments, retain the default value for security.embedPreviewUrl.
fixed in 6.67.0
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
