validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-924q-7grr-82mf ↗EUVD-2026-110056 ↗
description
HashiCorp Consul Community and Enterprise editions contain an HTTP API flaw that can let an unauthenticated remote party consume memory on a Consul agent. Successful abuse can make the affected agent unavailable; access to its HTTP API is the stated precondition.
mitigation
Upgrade Consul Community Edition to 2.1.0 or later. Upgrade Consul Enterprise to 2.1.0 or later, or to 1.21.19 or later on the 1.21 release line.
fixed in 2.1.0
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
