CVE-2026-105314
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-5557-484j-55xw ↗EUVD-2026-92275 ↗
description
Papermerge 3.5.3 is affected by a directory traversal flaw in the document upload API. A standard authenticated user could cause code to run on a later Python interpreter restart. Exploitation requires access to an account able to use the upload endpoint.
mitigation
Restrict or disable document uploads for untrusted users, and ensure the Papermerge service account cannot write to Python installation or site-packages directories. Monitor upload destinations and review affected hosts before restarting Python services; no fixed version is recorded.
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
