description

Affected openPDC deployments, including its Docker image, and openHistorian installations expose an internal data publisher that accepts unauthenticated connections in its default configuration. A network attacker who can reach that interface can obtain complete device and measurement topology information.

mitigation

Update openPDC and its Docker image to 2.9.477 or 2.9.482, and update openHistorian to 2.8.580 or 2.8.585. Restrict network access to the internal data publisher until updates are deployed.

fixed in 2.9.477, 2.9.482, 2.8.580, 2.8.585
