description

Apache Qpid Proton C through 0.40.0 is affected when decoding highly nested message bodies. An attacker able to supply such a message to an application that invokes pn_message_body() can cause the application to crash.

mitigation

Upgrade Apache Qpid Proton C to version 0.41.1 or later.
