description

GeoDirectory for WordPress versions through 2.8.187 are affected by a local file inclusion flaw. An unauthenticated attacker may load PHP files available on the server, potentially exposing data, bypassing controls, or executing code when a suitable PHP file can be included; the required request token is exposed to public visitors.

mitigation

Update GeoDirectory to a vendor release newer than 2.8.187 after confirming the release addresses this issue. Until then, reduce exposure by restricting public access where feasible and preventing untrusted PHP files from being uploaded or retained on the server.
