description

My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager for WordPress versions through 3.8.7 are affected by an unauthenticated privilege-escalation flaw. A remote attacker may modify the initial administrator account and obtain WordPress administrative access when the plugin’s public calendar page is accessible.

mitigation

Disable the plugin on affected sites, or restrict unauthenticated access to its automatically created calendar page until it can be removed or replaced. Block requests carrying the mcs parameter at the web tier as an additional exposure-reduction measure.
