CVE-2026-104732
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-pw6h-rjh8-7grw ↗EUVD-2026-96039 ↗
description
Advanced IP Blocker for WordPress through version 8.13.13 does not properly enforce the first authentication step before processing its two-factor login flow. An unauthenticated attacker who knows the user ID of an account with the plugin's 2FA enabled may gain access to that account, including an administrator account.
mitigation
Disable the plugin's 2FA login feature or deactivate Advanced IP Blocker until a vendor-fixed release is available. Restrict access to WordPress login endpoints and monitor affected accounts for unexpected sessions.
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
