description

Tenda HG7, HG9, and HG10 devices running firmware 300001138_en_xpon are affected by a stack-based buffer overflow in the Boa web interface. An attacker able to reach the affected web service may trigger the flaw remotely; the evidence does not establish whether authentication is required.

mitigation

Restrict access to the device web-management interface to trusted administrative networks, or disable external exposure where possible. Apply a vendor-provided firmware update when one is available; the evidence does not identify a fixed version.
