description

Naimur Email OTP Verification for WooCommerce versions through 2.1.0 mishandle authorization for password resets. An unauthenticated attacker may take over an account if its owner previously verified a password-reset OTP and left the reset process unfinished.

mitigation

Deactivate and remove the affected plugin, or disable its public password-reset functionality, until a vendor update is available. Review accounts with recently abandoned password-reset requests and reset credentials where compromise is suspected.
