CVE-2026-103547
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-f239-ggxr-g679 ↗EUVD-2026-90259 ↗
description
OpenBSD ldapd can associate a delegated BSD authentication result with the wrong client session on affected 7.8 and 7.9 releases. An attacker able to reach an enabled ldapd instance may authenticate as a different identity; the affected delegated authentication path must be in use.
mitigation
Install OpenBSD 7.8 errata 057 or OpenBSD 7.9 errata 021. Disable ldapd or restrict network access to it until the applicable errata is installed.
fixed in errata 057, errata 021
outcome
Mechanism verified: the exploit fired on the vulnerable build and stayed silent on the patched one, but the server it ran against was ours, so no check ships for it.
