description

MISP versions before 2.5.48 mishandle user-controlled fields when processing event-delegation requests. An authenticated user granted delegation permission can alter delegation records to access events from other organisations and, if a target accepts the delegation, affect event ownership; delegation must be enabled.

mitigation

Upgrade MISP to version 2.5.48 or later. Until upgrades are complete, disable the MISP.delegation setting and restrict delegation permission to only essential accounts.

fixed in 2.5.48
