description

Pexip Infinity media processing is affected by improper input validation in releases before 38.2 and in 39.0, 39.1, and 40.0. A remote attacker can cause the affected software to abort, disrupting service. Remote reachability of the affected media implementation is required.

mitigation

Update Pexip Infinity to version 38.2.0. Until updates are complete, restrict remote access to affected media services to reduce exposure.

fixed in 38.2.0
