description

Pexip Infinity releases earlier than 40.1.0 are affected by insufficient validation of signaling data. An attacker may cause the software to abort and interrupt service; the advisory does not specify an authentication or access prerequisite.

mitigation

Upgrade Pexip Infinity to version 40.1.0 or later. Until the upgrade is complete, restrict exposure of signaling interfaces to trusted networks and users where feasible.

fixed in 40.1.0

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
