description

pypdf versions earlier than 6.19.0 are affected when an application updates PDF form values with flattening enabled. An attacker who can supply a crafted PDF may cause excessive processing time and application unavailability through that processing path.

mitigation

Upgrade pypdf to >= 6.19.0 or later.

fixed in >= 6.19.0
